PreStarskate

 

                                                                   Pre-Starskate is a stepping stone from the Canskate Program

                                                                   to the Starskate Program.

 

                                                                   Skaters are required to obtain a Private Coach and arrangements for

                                                                   private lessons are between the parent and the coach. The skaters will

                                                                   receive group lessons by club coaches in stroking, edges & turns - the

                                                                   rest of the time they will work independently. 

                                                             

                                                                   Skaters will be introduced to Skate Canada tests and once they have

                                                                   successfully achieved one test they then become a Starskater. 

 

                                                                   There are many changes on the horizon for skating in Canada so this

                                                                   is an exciting time for our skaters to begin the PreStarskate program

                                                                   offered by the SFSC. The coaches will be working hard to make this

                                                                   program a great one for all.
